I'm also interested in making fibreglass panels, do you know how to do it?

I remember seeing TRD KE70(I think?) using fibreglass panels on the rally car, I wonder if he still has the molds...

EDIT: I just checked TRD's rides thread and I don't think it was him, must have been someone else.

I also remember reading that the Grid Vs weren't all that heavy, can't remember where I read it though, I think it was on a MX5 forum or something.

Hhmm copy wheels I would rather run steelies until I could afford proper wheels(I am atm). But I'd rather my car go good before looking good that's just me.

Nice pickup Spencer these things are sssoooo much fun. should go good with some of those shed goodies!

Aren't mx5's 4x100 in rwd offset?

Its also the offset on the rear R14 x 8 -12 is a little bit crazy on a Aw11, they are 4x100 like a mx5

If you have any wheel suggestions chuck them up!!

Ha was just kidding. don't mind rotas seem to be the better made of the "copy" wheels. Pozmans rotas seem robust enough too. A set of Simmons would have been square a long time ago. My problem is I think any bigger than 13's on a KE-1X looks wrong so I'm stuck with old school JDM wheels at a stupid price.

My vote is for white TE37's. What colour for the car? Still the blue?

Leaning towards that 2 tone white and silver ..With wide white wheels or maybe white centre and polished lip

Yeah had to go back and have another look. Hard decision between full white or polished lip.

But either way it's gunna look "Holy Santa Clause s$&t" good!!

The First pic is all miged up perfect, then thought I'd start the other side. Started off 20c coin and finished like that before I got angry and stormed in.I think there's more bog to be uncovered. Looking for a privateer or backyard specialised to do the window section , got quoted $80 and hour...lol I'm a engineer and I don't even earn that!!

just to give you a hint, the guy doing the job doesnt get that much either. but yeah try to remember you get what you pay for, and something like a rust repair you want to last as long as possible.

As above is 100 percent right, when I was a first year I was getting $6.70 an hour and all the people bringing their car in for a service were paying something like $120 +GST an hour, even when I will be qualified in a month still only getting about 17% of that amount.
