dbr11k Posted November 3, 2011 Report Posted November 3, 2011 does this seem suss or what? selling all those cars and parts and half of them are listed twice, the guy in question is bidding on something of mine and has zero feedback.. anyone delt with this "rollamanke70" personally?? ebay my world link
rollalicious Posted November 3, 2011 Report Posted November 3, 2011 And if its legit who in their right mind would save a bunch of overrated cars only to flood the market with them all at once? EVERY other collector of anything wants you to think that their product is the last one you will ever see... :hmm:
dbr11k Posted November 3, 2011 Author Report Posted November 3, 2011 apparently he keeps re posting the items once they are sold, an sending the people abusive messages.. one ke70 sold for over 4 grand in original condition, they have to be someone elses pics?? i don't want this dodgy prick bidding on my things.. :hmm:
dbr11k Posted November 3, 2011 Author Report Posted November 3, 2011 i just don't get it, if you are going to rip people off wouldn't you take a deposit and than rack off ?? somethings fishy here..
TE278U Posted November 3, 2011 Report Posted November 3, 2011 Tried ringing him before posting up this sort of stuff? his phone number is in his for sale ads. as far as i know, he does own those cars and he is an avid collector. his reasons are his own as to why he's selling them and he hasn't had much computer experience. If you want to know how my dealings go with him, Pm me and i'll be happy to go through it with you. -Dave
dbr11k Posted November 3, 2011 Author Report Posted November 3, 2011 ahk thats all i need to know than, seems like people are giving HIM a hard time than, he sounds like a busy man.. and this would explain why he has the same thing listed so many times lol.. cheers, dion.
phil86 Posted November 4, 2011 Report Posted November 4, 2011 I must admit I thought it looked suss also
B.L.Z.BUB Posted November 4, 2011 Report Posted November 4, 2011 two listings with the same pictures?
Redwarf Posted November 4, 2011 Report Posted November 4, 2011 Not everybody is internet savvy. Unless anyone else has had actual dealings with this gentleman, perhaps we could stop slandering him. Dave has, and happily vouches for him. Enough said. :locked:
Redwarf Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 Well, what a difference 24 hours makes. Unfortunately another member has PM'd me with some details that aren't promising relating to dishonoured bids and abusive emails. I'd like to hear of any dealings with this individual, good, bad or otherwise. This thread will remain closed at this point, however the warning of "buyer/ seller beware" should now apply. Regards R
