t18drifts Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 (edited) ok so i got another fuel regulator as my original one was f@$k well i have 2 after market ones (AS THE STOCK ONE IS f@$kED at 30 ish psi it will idle on its own but wont rev 125 psi it can almost be driving but dies under slight load i have had best results from using a basic aftermarket adjustable one and have had less results from the rising rate one so annoyed help Edited October 25, 2011 by t18drifts Quote
Evan G Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 125 PSI? WTF!?! you sure its a fuel problem not a ecu signal, (TPS, injectors, o2 sensor, coil, leads etc etc?) Quote
t18drifts Posted October 22, 2011 Author Report Posted October 22, 2011 yeah it will idle nicle at around 30ish psi but wont rev at all and will only rev with excess pressure Quote
TRD ke70 Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 That's not a fuel pressure problem. most EFI's don't need more than 35PSI. Time to check everything else!! What ECU are you using? Quote
Evan G Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 also what do you mean wont rev? foot down will it slowly pick up? NEED MORE INFO, please ring customer to confirm problem. Quote
TRD ke70 Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 Yeah, ring Evan!!! Could be fuel filter, where are you measuring the pressure, at the rail, pump, before or after the filter?? Quote
t18drifts Posted October 22, 2011 Author Report Posted October 22, 2011 stander ecu guys with knock censor thingo only thing i have change from stock is the turbo (T25) and o2 censor (one from a sr20det) it will rev slightley at 35 40 psi but wont go any higher then 2500 if that even if you slighlty rev only time i can get it past that is with excesive fuel pressure Quote
Evan G Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 i also think it might have to do with fuel flow not pressure Quote
t18drifts Posted October 22, 2011 Author Report Posted October 22, 2011 also what do you mean wont rev? foot down will it slowly pick up? NEED MORE INFO, please ring customer to confirm problem. whats your number bro Quote
TRD ke70 Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 So you've replaced the single wire O2 sensor(standard) with a 3 wire O2 sensor(SR20DET)? Quote
t18drifts Posted October 22, 2011 Author Report Posted October 22, 2011 one thing there is wicked pressure in the tank when i disconect the return line on the regulator to the tank i get fuel spitting back up with great pressure when everthing is of 1 Quote
t18drifts Posted October 22, 2011 Author Report Posted October 22, 2011 So you've replaced the single wire O2 sensor(standard) with a 3 wire O2 sensor(SR20DET)? wait I'm not 100 percent sure its a sr one it was single wire and fit in the t25 dump Quote
TRD ke70 Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 Have you got the fuel pump connected to the right line? sounds like you have the pump connected to the return line!! Quote
t18drifts Posted October 22, 2011 Author Report Posted October 22, 2011 no it is on the right one Quote
GJM85 Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 (edited) sounds like fuel cut out to me.... ECU. Edited October 22, 2011 by GJM85 Quote
