Details are as follows: CCG, TOYMODS, ROLLACLUB & AE86DC Attending Marques in the Park 2011 - Sunday, 13th November We are planning on meeting up first, just like last year, then cruising as a group to the event... Meet up Start time: 8.00 – 9.00 am Meet at the futsal Stadium, Barrine Dr, Action Park, next to Commonwealth Avenue Bridge. 9.00 am - Cruise, to John Knight Park, Belconnen 10.00 – 3.00 Kick back and relax Final Location: John Knight Memorial Park, Belconnen ACT. Ladies and Gentlemen, Its that time of the year again when we as a group get to show off our massive love of Toyota's to the rest of the ACT (And Australia) at the Annual Marques in the Park car show extravaganza. So if your not already booked into All Japan Day in Sydney come on down and join us. Don't forget to pack a comfy chair and some headware to protect you from the wonderful early summer heat. Also the CCG will be running the now famous CCG BBQ for those at the event so make sure you have plenty of spare change to keep you filled up on Sausage Sanga's and cool drinks. If your planning on coming down please reply here and I'll add you to our confirmed entrant list (don't worry its free entry) so we have a rough idea of how many are coming. ------------------------Below is the Official details From Marques in the Park Organisers-------------------------------- 9th Annual Marques in the Park 13 November 2011 John Knight Memorial Park Lake Ginninderra, Belconnen Marques in the Park is the Council of ACT Motor Clubs spring time motoring event hosted by the Canberra Region Morris Minor Club and supported by Shannons Insurance and SOS Recruitment. Each November, hundreds of vehicle enthusaists join a post-breakfast cruise to John Knight Memorial Park to enjoy at day in the shade on the shores of Lake Ginninderra in Belconnen. All vehicle enthusiasts and vehicle types are invited to participate in this FREE event well supported local motoring clubs. In 2007, over 700 vehicles were on display from Veteran and Vintage motorcars to the latest Ford FPV GT’s and Suzuki Swifts. Marques in the Park 2011 Event Details: Remember this event is for everybody, clubs and individuals from: Young to Old, People and Cars, Bog stock to Hot Rod, Primer to Polished, Street Cars to Street Machines, Rusty to Restored, Hacks to Show Cars, Hot 4’s to Big Block V8’s, and maybe V10’s or 12’s, Race cars, Drag cars, Rally cars, Speedway cars. Trade Stalls and food will be at the park.
