tojo2 Posted October 5, 2011 Report Posted October 5, 2011 If your ke70 is imported it will have a U -code diff. LSDs exsist but are rare Quote
Spencer[RL] Posted October 5, 2011 Report Posted October 5, 2011 I had lsd in my ke70 once, drove it like a F1 car.. didnt even leave my drive way Quote
Ella Posted October 9, 2011 Report Posted October 9, 2011 If your ke70 is imported it will have a U -code diff. LSDs exsist but are rare my japanese DX had a U series, what a piece of ass, couldnt be rid of it fast enough. Quote
MrInKryption Posted October 9, 2011 Report Posted October 9, 2011 Wouldn't a T series LSD fit? From an AE86 or T18 Quote
Ella Posted October 9, 2011 Report Posted October 9, 2011 not unless you changed the entire diff and housing, and did the tailshaft swap, which can get VERY expensive. Quote
robj Posted October 10, 2011 Report Posted October 10, 2011 A T series swap isn't THAT expensive (I guess depends what you call expensive). I bought a diff drum to drum for $140, put a TRD 1 and a 1/2 way LSD centre in it $500, $20 for new oil, a bit of welding to weld the diff to my car (from 4 link to the leaf suspension of the KE25) and hey presto! Custom build an adjustable panhard rod (KE25's don't have one) for about $100 (including nylothane bushes). So less than $800 for a conversion AND a very tight TRD centre. Quote
