Right.....people need some reminding about what this thread is for, and what is not permitted here.

 

 

Firstly we should be greatful to the admin staff for this thread even still being open, as trading is not permitted in regional forums. They have allowd it to continue if we can abide by certain rules, which at the moment hardly anybody is.

 

What this thread is for:

 

If you find or hear of a corolla or K relevant part, that may not be advertised here, let your fellow rollaclub members know about it by putting up a breif description of part, price, who has it, and how they can be contacted.

 

If you (BEING A ROLLACLUB MEMBER) have parts to sell yourself, then put up an add in the parts trader *with appropriate info* just like any other member does. You can then put a link to your for sale thread into this thread.

Same goes for parts wanted.

 

 

What this thread is not for:

 

General discussion. > We can start a "Tassie general discussion" thread if you want!!

 

Technical queries. > there is a whole technical section for this, with KExx, AExx etc specific info. Or this is sometimes done in members rides and projects.

 

Personal projects. > We all love seeing each others cars, and what everyone else is up to and planning....but this is not the thread for it. If you want to share your project, then go and start your own thread in the "rides and projects" section.

 

 

 

Now....what is going to happen to this thread?

The last couple of pages of this are terribly, but there is some info there that will otherwise have to be re-typed (this is mainly to you Rob74Coupe). So I will leave it there until Friday morning giving you to opportunity to cut and paste it into the appropriate sections. If this isn't done by friday, it will all simply be deleted.

 

I think I will also go through the whole thread and delete most of it (all un-needed posts), and I may also clean it up on a weekly basis as parts are found or sold.

I guess we've been lucky to be allowed to have a parts thread in the local section, it would be a loss if it goes.

i think a tassie general discussion thread would be a great idea, although obviously this thread isn't the place for me to voice that opinion.... most of my posts involved me asking for a part or telling people i had some part, and I'm from tasmania, i didnt realise i was hurting so many people by posting in a corolla parts thread in the tasmania section....

 

this thread is the only thread i have gotten any decent replies on.... maybe we should start www.tasrollaclub.com....

i'm only jesting so i hope no moderator's take offense and ban me :) but mainlander's are ignorant (if your a mainland moderator don't even bother replying to me, this is a TASSIE thread and your not ALLOWED to post in here.... unless you know of a part in tassie)

 

i have fixed all my posts to comply with whover i need to comply with... so i guess this non-relevant post will get to stay up here till friday...

TE71 with AE71 engine x-member. Already have an AE82 column, this should be "the missing link" (I hope)

There's an AE71 in my 'backyard' thats been wrecked.

 

Machg - I'll double check on that rod, but I think I can help.
