Toy-Yoda[RL] Posted September 18, 2011 Report Posted September 18, 2011 Just got this home today. Genuine little old lady car, bought it off an 81 year old lady who'd had it since 1984, she kept it in a carpeted garage and washed it with wool wash every month. Log book from new to now, always been cared for, and it shows. Drives better than some new cars, rides like a cloud (also better than a lot of new cars), and is just generally awesome. And because all threads are worthless without pics; Chocolate brick love This bumper could end worlds Dem hips/dat ass Biscuit interior, minty. Rocking out to AM radio and cassettes  Cleanest boot ever in a 30 year old car? Possible. Room for a Mini? Definitely. Original safety triangle, still in pack, looking unused. Put on hat, drive 20 under the limit with the left indicator on, cause lolrage, oh yes, I can get used to this. (I totally got this taken by a passenger.) Plans? Roady, rego, touch up the paint here and there, nanna rug for the back, daily. Until the mrs gets her licence, then I may lower it a smidge, widen and colour code the steelies and put whitewalls on. 1 Quote
TarmacAttack Posted September 18, 2011 Report Posted September 18, 2011 Manual too... Nice one. We have a few customers with volvos. All owned since new, one with 420xxxkms on a 960, a 264 thats overrated which we got rid of the shitty french v6 and put a B23 in it. And a 240 with 144xxx on it, old widdowed lady which was told by her late husband to service it every 3 months, which may be 150kms and the oil is still golden. Nice pickup though!! They are aweseome cars Quote
altezzaclub Posted September 18, 2011 Report Posted September 18, 2011 Nice find! There is only ONE thing to do with it.... Quote
irokin Posted September 18, 2011 Report Posted September 18, 2011 So shades infected you too? There's already one getting around in the iRace series. I know the rims are a bit off in this shot, but he has a set that are more true to the original for display. Quote
7shades Posted September 19, 2011 Report Posted September 19, 2011 Yes, I will happily take full credit for infecting this poor chap with the Volvirus Quote
Toy-Yoda[RL] Posted September 19, 2011 Author Report Posted September 19, 2011 That and cars designed around the aerodynamics of a brick appeal to me :laff: Quote
