Why does it take one day out of the year for people to go and be 'Australian'? why don't they just do what they do every other day of the year?

Another excuse to get pissed and not be frowned upon or called a drunkard. I don't do anything on Australia day anymore. Just cook my steak, sit back and do ʞ©$ɟ all. Maybe play some COD

I can't see the point anymore of being patriotic, every other country can fly their flags, set off fireworks, huge bonfires, fire off their guns into the air, drink stupid amounts of alcohol and yadda yadda.

We fly the aussie flag on our patriotic day and we get called racist, go figure.

Coles and Woolies tells us to eat lamb on this day and yet they turn around and do a Gillard on us by stabbing us in the back with a massive jump in price on lamb, go figure.

Oh well at least i can throw a leg of kangaroo on the barbie and burn up an emu omelet

Chinese Aussie Day flags and other merchandise. That is all.

For the love of everything take the flags off your car tomorrow! I'm not Australian but I love this country, when those flags snap off and litter the gutters it makes me sad.

Did fly the flag on the car last year and removed it a few days after.

Couldn't see the point of it this time round.

Couldn't even see the point of changing my avatar either.

Don't get me wrong or that cause i love my country. It doesn't bother me at all with people from overseas moving here to live as long as they come here legally and want to share in the aussie way of life. Whats get up my nose is the people that want to move here illegally and/or want to bring their other countries views on how their country is run.

Not trying to make it look as if i'm pointing a finger, but Muslims, i'm at ease with their religion. A part of their religion states that their women have to dress in a burqa, so be it. I don't have a problem with how they deal with crime and punishment in their country, so be it its how they do things in their country.

My problem is when they come here and start pushing their religious, political views and their way of live on to us.

Bit like a "born again" christian, many that i've come across try and ram Christianity down your thoat even knowing you've told them your a christian.
