orangeLJ Posted July 26, 2013 Report Posted July 26, 2013 Option one were doing them as a "grey importer" (as in not a federal tyre approved dealer) that's why they were really well priced. Last time I asked they had stopped doing them and had become an archilles only seller as part of sponsorships with them. I used to buy my 235/45/17s 595SS for the VT from them and have them shipped down to me. it was still cheaper than any other decent tyre locally (even with friends in tyre shops) Quote

Federal list them on their website as an authorised Federal dealer Quote
Tume Posted July 26, 2013 Report Posted July 26, 2013 KU31's are what I'd reccomend.. Found it was the best for driving overall compared to anything else that I have seen. (Both on my car and other cars in Darwin). Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted July 26, 2013 Report Posted July 26, 2013 Dear *E7* owners, Please stop PM-ing your idiot questions. I don't care, you are the reason I am no longer a mod. There is a fantastic new thing called 'Google'. If I get another PM asking me what size bulbs go in the indicators I am quitting the internet. Quote
It's_AUDM_Yo Posted July 27, 2013 Report Posted July 27, 2013 HAHAHA and to think I thought I asked you silly questions. Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted July 27, 2013 Report Posted July 27, 2013 I didnt mind yours because you had half an idea and had tried to find solutions and were stuck. Seriously, most of the PMs I get arent even polite, Quote
madKE35coupe Posted July 27, 2013 Report Posted July 27, 2013 Usually with tyres the more you spend rhe better they handle, but being a softer compound so they don't last as long. Buy cheap tyres they last for ages but are hard as concrete so the slightest dampness on the road and any form of traction goes out rhe window. Some of the inbetween brands that you don't hear about are quite good all rounders though. Marangoni mythos and sumitomo htr tyres were fairly popular back when i used to work for superior tyres Quote
rian Posted July 27, 2013 Author Report Posted July 27, 2013 I'm going with Federal 595 RSR, $135ea fitted. I'll use them until they wear out then I'll try RE002s Quote

madKE35coupe Posted July 29, 2013 Report Posted July 29, 2013 One of the guys at my work had a seizure this mornong and collapsed at work. He had one a few months back and has been under constant watch since. Havent heard from the hospital yet hope he is ok. Great way to start my birthday :/ Quote
orangeLJ Posted July 29, 2013 Report Posted July 29, 2013 That sucks. Seizures are ʞ©$ɟing scary to be around, never much you can do about it and thats the worst bit. I had a shitty end to an otherwise good weekend, finding out a friend was killed in a bike accident just before lunch on Sunday morning. 32 years old. Quote
carbonboy Posted July 29, 2013 Report Posted July 29, 2013 Both of those suck :( Hope your workmate turns out okay, my cousin was diagnosed with epilepsy while I was living with her. It's a $h1t thing to deal with. On a brighter note, Happy Birthday. Quote
