Tume Posted April 17, 2013 Report Posted April 17, 2013 So I was reading up on the "Police Powers and Responsibilities Act" in which the new "Hoon" laws are covered, when I found this sentence. No wonder no one reads these Acts, try and understand this: "If a police officer reasonably suspects a vehicle is unsafe or defective, the police officer may, by notice in the approved form, require its owner or, if there is a registered operator for the vehicle and the registered operator, apart from being the registered operator, is not the owner of the vehicle, its registered operator, not to use it, or permit it to be used, on a road until-" Who on earth writes these?? Aka, without any training we are giving officers of the law permission to claim any vehicle no matter of actual fact but personal opinion is defectable and illegal, as such creating revenue and hassles for man and woman alike. towe001 Posted April 20, 2013 Report Posted April 20, 2013 Noticed that myself. I was listening to the manhunt and shootout last night. Till the kid voiced over the radio that, "you killed my brother, i'll kill you all". 5-10 minutes later the public broadcast was cut. Quote
