Jono.C Posted October 11, 2012 Report Posted October 11, 2012 Check it out on eBay! $12. Type in ke10 and it should be near the top. I'm stoked! Â I found out today while reading a book that the passenger side springs on a ke10 are about 30mm shorter than the drivers side, and 8.2mm thick on the passenger side instead of the 8.5 on the drivers.. interesting Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted October 11, 2012 Report Posted October 11, 2012 Ahh dammit I bought the Corolla one above it last week. Mines a 1300 anyway :) Quote

B.L.Z.BUB Posted October 17, 2012 Report Posted October 17, 2012 (edited) To you guys doing your 4AGE conversions: Â What kind of grounding off the engine are you doing? Ive had a few people tell me it may be part of my starting issue. What wire thickness and from where have you grounded it? I have - battery to chassis original ke70 position (thick), a thinish bellhousing to chassis and a thick front of block to chassis. Â EDIT: No worries Leo, trying to pay forward some deals on parts. I'm actually struggling to give away shit. Edited October 17, 2012 by B.L.Z.BUB Quote
It's_AUDM_Yo Posted October 17, 2012 Report Posted October 17, 2012 (edited) If got a thick as all shit one from the block to the chassis like 30mm  Edit: I'm a retard Edited October 17, 2012 by It's_AUDM_Yo Quote
It's_AUDM_Yo Posted October 17, 2012 Report Posted October 17, 2012 Its mammoth. My starter cable is as thick or thicker as well. Turns over super well. Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted October 17, 2012 Report Posted October 17, 2012 The thickness of your grounding wire is 5cm, 50mm, 0.5m??? Â Pics or ban. Seriously can I get pics of your grounding wire and starter wire? I'm thinking the guy who did the conversion might not have upgraded these things. Quote
It's_AUDM_Yo Posted October 17, 2012 Report Posted October 17, 2012 (edited) lololol I ment 25-30mm = 3cm = 0.03m  I'll grab some tomorrow if you want.  But yeah just get the biggest bloody cable you can find its all i've done Edited October 17, 2012 by It's_AUDM_Yo Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted October 17, 2012 Report Posted October 17, 2012 Might try that, the block wire is around 8mm and the gearbox one about 4mm. Quote
It's_AUDM_Yo Posted October 17, 2012 Report Posted October 17, 2012 I don't have one on my gearbox does that matter? I assumed it all metal so it would all earth through one point. Quote
