JoshJ Posted September 16, 2011 Report Posted September 16, 2011 hey guys, I've been looking at some XXR 002 wheels and I'm just curious as to how wide, and what offset wheels i'll be able to fit under a KE70 82 panel van without rolling guards etc. Cheers, Josh Quote
Jrad Posted September 20, 2011 Report Posted September 20, 2011 Ke70 panel van, assuming it's the same around the guards as a KE70 sedan. You should be able to put 7' wide rims with anything above 0 offset. Definitely 6.5' wide. Of course, this depends on how low your car is as well. You can hypothetically put 10' wide rims with a -20 offset on standard height because they won't bump into anything because the KE70s sit like a 4wd, haha. I've got springs that are about 2 coils lower in the rear, with 14'x7' rims about a +2 offset - and they fit nicely. Rolling guards is easy though - hairdryer and a rubber hammer that wont mark the paint. Quote
Grand Master of Awesome Posted September 21, 2011 Report Posted September 21, 2011 15x8 +-0 with 195/55, slight roll. Quote
rian Posted September 21, 2011 Report Posted September 21, 2011 (edited) hey guys, I've been looking at some XXR 002 wheels and I'm just curious as to how wide, and what offset wheels i'll be able to fit under a KE70 82 panel van without rolling guards etc. Learn to read Jacob, gosh. JoshJ Posted September 21, 2011 Author Report Posted September 21, 2011 hmm good stuff, yeah could go a roll i spoze, and will 8's with 0+- work front n rear or shouldi throw 7's on the front? just after heaps of ideas Quote
19914afc Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 175/55r15's***** won't need a roll then haha. Quote
Grand Master of Awesome Posted September 23, 2011 Report Posted September 23, 2011 8 all round will be fine. Standard Suspension? not running xt130 lca's or anything in the front that provides camber? I'm going off what i've run on my cars with 14x8's. 14x8 +- 0 is a perfect size for the rear with 175/65 or 185/60. Panelvan rears actually hold a bit better offset than sedans, from what i noticed when i owned one. Quote
19914afc Posted September 23, 2011 Report Posted September 23, 2011 Same with the rear of my T18 as well for some odd reason. Quote
Spencer[RL] Posted September 23, 2011 Report Posted September 23, 2011 9's all round is sweet. Quote
JoshJ Posted September 23, 2011 Author Report Posted September 23, 2011 will 15/8S be legal in nsw without engineering etc.? Quote
Spencer[RL] Posted September 24, 2011 Report Posted September 24, 2011 You allowed 2 size's up or down from standard size rims. They were realesed with 13"s so 15" is fine.not to sure about track tho, thinks its also 2" overall. Quote
Grand Master of Awesome Posted September 26, 2011 Report Posted September 26, 2011 They come factory with 13x5.5 so no not techincally legal but i haven't heard of anyone getting done for them. Keep stockies in case ;) Quote
Kepanelvan Posted June 14, 2012 Report Posted June 14, 2012 How about 15x8 with a +25 offset all around? panelvan will be lowered with 86 front struts and haven't thought about changing lca's. Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted June 14, 2012 Report Posted June 14, 2012 15x8 +25 will foul on the front struts probably Quote
