What Would Cause Tps To Play Up ?

Hey guys,

I've been trying solve my problem for while now with no luck

I have replaced TPS,Coils&Igntion, Spark plugs, leads are good, fuel pump

 

It would only rev to 4000 revs and just bounce there and miss throttle sometimes, when i unplug TPS the problem is gone but doesnt run the smoothest

 

With fuel pump is it ok to have it hooked up to ignition ?

umm that efi euel pump is gonna pull some serious amperage!!! you might be running out of voltage for the coil; i'd run it to a relay or to some other source of power.

daisy's battery used to go dead after i did the efi swap when i drove around at night.

got a new alternator, same problem.

turned out the stock '69 ke18 alternator only put out 25 amps and the fuel pump pulled more than that
