Time and Money is your answer to all the conversions,

all of them are relatively easy, and if you search you will find mountains of information, look at the build threads

The more you ask and expect, the more you are going to annoy people

CA/SR/4G63/93, Engine mounts need to be fab

RB/1/2J/1GGTE/7MGTE any 6 pot motor, firewall mods and the 1UZFE

Any of the above engines are going to destroy things if its a slider and not setup properly

Budget for 15 - 20k for reliable package at least, or buy one already done

I'm nominating this thread for Derp of the year award.

If you're not prepared to put the time and effort into your questions then why on earth would anyone ever bother putting time and effort into their replies? Its a credit to the people who have bothered to reply. I think you should consider yourself lucky for not getting your head chewed off!

p.s. buy my VH45, it'll go hella hard mang

If you're doing anything other than a 3/4/5k there will be a fair bit if modifying involved. You said you don't want to do mods/fabrication any swap other than 3/4/5k will require mods/fabrication. SR/RB/2J are all huge conversions and will require a lot of fab work to properly as you will need a good gearbox to hold on to the power minimum what the motor came with, and also a shortened hilux diff. As for RB and 2J if your learning to slide these wouldn't suit in my opinion as it will throw out the balance of the car. Spend some dollars on suspension/handling mods. If u do a swap don't forget to budget for brakes

Got it pretty on track and sorted now, I'm gonna go with an SR20DE frontcut (Pretty straight forward converson, Cheap, easy and enough grunt to slide), and as for the diff i'm going to shorten the diff out of an old R31, Haven't made my mind up about coilovers, and brakes are still on the list...Got any recomendations for Coils and brakes? :)

Why sr20de? 20V has more. Power more than likely less weight and you keep it all Toyota. If u stick with sr20 just use the s13 brakes and coils....
