Ke20 4 Speed To 5 Speed

the cars a ke20 with a 4k 4 speed in it.

 

the question i have is if i get a k50 box would it go straight in or would i need to shorten the tail shaft?

will the gear stick hole line up???

Tailshaft no.

 

Shifter hole maybe depending on the car you get the 5 speed from. If its from a KE70 then you will be moving the shifter hole back. KE55 box should come out of the original hole.

Yes it is.

 

As mentioned you wont need to shorten tailshaft, but there are a couple of different output shaft splines so you may need to change the front yoke over.
