Agree with the above.

 

Know a guy who killed a 9 inch behind a warm 351.

 

Also know of an opel 4 speed (you older guys will know of it) that outlasted 3 big cammed 202's in a daily driven FX

 

Its how you treat them.

IMO Hilux or R31, mine has not missed a beat and i do push it but don't go silly on it

 

But as Andy said depends how you drive it, check another SR20 thread in the rides section, got away with the stock diff for a while and the gears are not mashed up

there are plenty of morons who have managed to destroy a ke70 diff with a 4k...

 

we put a yr22 torago diff in my mates ae86, comes with 4x114.3 too, and we just 14" wheels on it (only just fit, funny as 14" wheels over ~12" drums)

Yeah, I know. But this ones still going (sorta as the car is of the road for a rebuild) and has been in the car as long as I can remember. And I'm close to 40!!!!!!!!!!!

Hilux, falcon, r31, *cringes abit* dare I say it...... vl

 

All these are strong diffs and can be easily shortened and all can have aftermarket lsd's bought for them or factory ones shimmed up

 

And to all who say falcon/commodore diffs are shit for holding hp, your very wrong
