bogstock ke35 Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 Take your vin number into a toyota dealership and they should be able to give you a ignition key code to suit that car. Then all you have to do is take that code to the locksmiths and they will cut a new key to that code, hope this helps Quote
kickn5k Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 (edited) Just spend 20mins and pull the locking barrel out out the door(easiest one). That's if it's the same as ignition and take it too any local locksmith. My key was too far gone on my ke-11, so I had to take the door lock down so they could cut the key to the barrel. Cost me $80 for two keys. Stu Edited August 8, 2011 by kickn5k Quote
7shades Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 (edited) There is a code on the small arm between the door lock barrel and the control rod. (or on the barrel itself, can't remember exactly where it is on a KE) Any locksmith worth his salt will be able to cut a key from that code for a few bucks. Edited August 5, 2011 by 7shades Quote
