Guest pmp16 Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 ??? So many Other engines to put in .. Y the old straight 6. 202 ? Quote
19914afc Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 Wouldn't be too hard to make mounts but would probably need firewall cut if you want any kind of good weight distribution, they can make good power though, I have a mate that has a 202 in a LJ 2 door running about 300HP not sure if its at the wheels or fly but it sounds oh so good :) pretty much what it sounds like and its very loud! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzG5b80KHvw&feature=related Quote
Guest pmp16 Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 202 n all Holden straight 6 r good specially with triple carbs .. :) Quote

GJM85 Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 It would be like driving a elephant in a shopping trolley. Quote

oh what a nissan feeling! Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 Radiator sideways  i think you may have missed the point of a radiator........... :hmm: Quote
GJM85 Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 why will it be what do u reckon it will be shit in it. It's a pretty heavy engine. It would be great going in a straight line but when it comes to handling... :no2: Quote
Hiro Protagonist Posted August 6, 2011 Report Posted August 6, 2011 (edited) Radiator sideways  i think you may have missed the point of a radiator........... :hmm: Try telling that to a Mini owner :P Edited August 6, 2011 by Hiro Protagonist Quote
rolla76* Posted August 6, 2011 Author Report Posted August 6, 2011 all i have to do it un bolt my front panel the bit that ublots and bolt it forward more :) Quote
SLO-030 Posted August 6, 2011 Report Posted August 6, 2011 and panel mounts, bonnet catches, bumper mounts. Lot of work to do when you could have it done twice as easy by cutting and boxing the firewall. Quote
Rob 5000 Posted August 7, 2011 Report Posted August 7, 2011 I'd go the 179hp they had a better crankshaft than the old 202 Quote
Ben-89 Posted August 7, 2011 Report Posted August 7, 2011 Its been before and a member from memory had a ke30 posted up and yes the radiator was mounted sideways. Its just boils down to what your going to use it for. Burnouts, drags but any circuit work it reconsider the choice strongly as the handling will just go out the window as mentioned by the other guys. Good luck with the build mate :y: Quote
JJT036 Posted August 8, 2011 Report Posted August 8, 2011 If I were to go for an Old Straight-6, I'd go for the 250 Crossflow. Josh  Quote
