Hey,

I have a Datsun 180b paddock basher and it had twin SU's, I'm about to start a Ke30 Project Car for my P's soooo i was wondering if anyone has a cheap manifold to fit them to a 3k??

Go back through the 'parts for sale' posts and start PMing people. Someone will have one attached to a set of SUs they haven't sold.

Lynx haven't made them for years, so they are rare.

Yes, there aren't many down draft manifolds for the K motor. I think I may have seen one for sale on a finish website.

Your best bet is DCOE Webers, or DHLA Dellorto's. The appropriate manifold is still available and they are just as good if not better than IDF's.

I went looking for SU manifold about 4 years ago and had a very hard time. I missed out on a manifold only for 80 bucks which was an absolute steal. At the time I thought i could do better so didn't snap it up! Foolish.

BUT having said that there's been a few sell, with carbies, for reasonable prices in the last few months, after a good 2-3 year drought.

As suggested, go back through old posts as there are probably a couple that might still be available. Incidentally, the same couple of sets keep coming up.

Another option might be to get a stock 3K twin downdraft manifold and run a couple of 32/32 webers?

Personally, sidedraft weber or dellorto's are the only way to roll.

You could, but you'd probably have to have it made. I'm not sure if they were ever made. Maybe TRD did at some stage, but from memory they are not in their catalog, so you're highly unlikely to ever find one.

Just get the side drafts going, it should sound quite mean...

Hi,

SU manifodls can be hard to get so go over old thread see what you find unsold.

But my best score for my old SU's was went to a swap meet going througha mini restorers parts and he had UNKNOWN manifold $10....I knew what it was 3K :)

So try mini guys or datto guys they usually want the carbies not the manifold and might find a good bargin I know I have that way a few times to......

As for gear drive TRD made one for cam apparently was known to strip teeth. Used oil mist for lube prob really needed oil jet lube but never had it so doubt you will find one if you did Id not use it ..lol
