1. What is the name of the standard KE70 Sedan gearbox that's fitted to the 4K-C? The 4 speed one. T40 or K40? (is there even a K40?)

2. What 5 speed box would you be able to fit onto the 4K engine? Would the T50 work? Do you have to rebuild anything to make it fit?

3. What rear axle that can handle the bhp could you use if you were to put for ex. a 4AGE engine in it? Would the same axle hold up if you turbocharge the 4AGE and pull about 250 bhp out of it? And I'm presuming the T50 bolts staight onto the 4AGE.

4. How much can the standard 4K-C drive shaft handle?

1) K40

2) K50, change the flywheel

3) No Clue on axles but T50 does bolt onto 4age

4) Depends how you drive it, Clean shifts,Not dumping the clutch and not getting raped daily, around 100kw

T50 are from a 4ac in a ke70

a locked borgy can last a while behind a 4age (had one for few months worth of fun), with a gze or tubro id fear the box would go before the axle

Okay, great answers :)

So where do i find a K50? (what car?) And then just take the flywheel off of that engine along with the box and bolt onto the 4K?

Forgot to ask, what can the original rear axle of the KE70 take? I guess a 4AGE would skin it alive?

Also i've noticed a lot of people run the KE70's with Nissan S13 parts such as brakes, coilovers and the likes. I'm guessing it can't be that hard to make some of that fit then? Anyone around here that knows something about that?

Don't need to change the fly wheel. k50 came in Ke70's and Ke55's though they have different shifter positions.

Dude I'd seriously start Google-ing and read up its all there. Or start going through rides/engine conversion threads. All your answers are there if you search.

GOOD INFO HERE.

Yeah i know, just though i'd get some quick and direct answers first, and i do believe i know most of it already. Still there's so damn much info that it's easier to keep it in your head with straight answers instead of reading it somewhere and not being 100% sure what you find is the right thing.

I've been learning all about Peugeot's engine stuff for a year or 2 now and i've pretty much got all that sorted up, but that seemed easy compared to this, since there's a lot more parts for various cars involving Toyota and these particular KE70, especially when you have to start thinking crosswise what fits from what car to another.
