newjak Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 doing the auto /manual conversion Q....do i need to get a new flywheel or can i use the one on my set up now(auto) Quote
newjak Posted July 19, 2011 Author Report Posted July 19, 2011 ok thanks for the reply whats the difference? Quote
luke_ke Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 (edited) the differnce is that the auto has a torque converter thats bolts up to a flex plate - it doesnt have a flywheel it has a flex plate. The manual has a flywheel, a clutch and pressure plate. - you will also need a spigot bearing as the auto wont have one Edited July 19, 2011 by luke_ke Quote
