rke_011 Posted July 14, 2011 Report Posted July 14, 2011 Anyone have part number pictuures measurements or anything of the lifters needed??
GJM85 Posted July 14, 2011 Report Posted July 14, 2011 You don't really need a separate thread for this. I went to my local Auto Pro (ie. Beenleigh Bearings - 0738071155). I told them I wanted Holden 202 solid lifters. They called their supplier and passed on my request. They got the anti-pump up lifters. $90 for #8. HEY PRESTO!
Evan G Posted July 14, 2011 Report Posted July 14, 2011 (edited) TRUE THAT!!!^ when i was running my 5k in my 55. i had the most quiet lifters EVER! i wouldn't mind doing a 4k HYDRO conversion to piss off the solid haters  Edited July 14, 2011 by Evan G
GJM85 Posted July 14, 2011 Report Posted July 14, 2011 (edited) ^^^^ These bloke are doing it for a boost application. Using a dished piston 5k bottom end and a flat 4/5k top end gives a heavy compression decrease for turbos or blowers. With the difference in lifter/pushrod/head heights, a pushrod/lifter/rocker combination is required. A combination that cannot be easily aquired with the exception of the datsun/holden lifter conversion... to piss off the solid haters I think you mean the solid lovers...... .....................thats how my wife loves it anyway! Edited July 14, 2011 by GJM85
