stable20 Posted July 13, 2011 Report Posted July 13, 2011 finally decided to pull my finger out and get started on the daily ke70. my meantime plans for the ksev. 1. remove boot well (spare tire well) and have it all flat. 2. respray inside the boot. 3. install an alarm and central locking system. 4. install sound system 5. remove carpet (cause its F#@ked) and maybe remove the sound deadening and replace it with stone guard. 6. sand and bog ALL dings and prep body work. 7. prime all bog patches and prepare the whole body for primer, ill probably use acrylic body filler. 8. hopefully along the way through this grueling process can afford quad light conversion chrome bars new lights and accessories, and all the suspension needs to set up for drifting. i will get more in depth of the build once the photos start coming. so here goes the build time to steal the miss's camera hahaha. BUZ440 Posted July 14, 2011 Report Posted July 14, 2011 Reed tyre pump in a can will suffice, EVO X's have them standard, i have one in mine, rattles around Why did you cut the rear tyre well mind me asking? Quote
mhmills Posted July 14, 2011 Report Posted July 14, 2011 Isn't it a roadworthy issue not carrying a spare tyre aboard your vehicle? Fair enough if it was a track car but I read "daily" somewhere... Just my 2 cents. Cheers, Jake. Quote
stable20 Posted July 14, 2011 Author Report Posted July 14, 2011 (edited) metal ready to be picked up :) well it is going to be partially track car sometime through out the end of the year start of next hopefully, well i never carry a spare tire, took it out from the day i got it so i thought i would get rid of it, more room for surge tank, sub box, fuel tank etc. roadworthy is not a problem :) Edited July 14, 2011 by stable20 Quote

Onikage Posted July 15, 2011 Report Posted July 15, 2011 Flat boot interior, you going for a show style audio setup? And afaik, you do not have to carry a spare tyre, but if you do, it must have a roadworthy amount of tread on it, or it could be defectable. Quote
stable20 Posted July 16, 2011 Author Report Posted July 16, 2011 nope just a clean setup, never used the spare so thought i would get rid of the massive hole. well today everything is finished just waiting on fuel tank to dry (gun metal grey) then all goes back together. still have partial bits of the boot to spray, pics shall be up tonight hopefully Quote
