abbott Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 Hey. Seen a few people mention modifying a toyoglide and having never owned or wanted to own an auto have no history with them. So can someone give me an idea on what is involved when modifying them to handle almighty 4k power and is it expensive to get done. I tried searching here and google but first time ever couldn't find any info. Cheers Tom Quote
GJM85 Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 almighty 4k power? i don' think that would be a problem. they modify them so they can be manual shifted, faster and smoother changes, like a powerglide kit on your dommy. Quote
abbott Posted July 3, 2011 Author Report Posted July 3, 2011 It was a joke and ok fair enough. Sounds like a pricey exercise as I said no idea with autos Quote
silverra23 Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 Having a two speed auto is a pain in the arse...makes freeway driving very painful. For what ever you are trying to achieve, look at something else! Quote
abbott Posted July 4, 2011 Author Report Posted July 4, 2011 Yeah ok thanks for that. Might just skip and go straight to a 5 speed conversion rather than screwing around with something I'll hate anyway. Quote
