Cut it, make new mounts. It'd be a c**t of a job.

 

I thought about it but modifying ke30 chromies ended up being easier and cheaper.

 

Both front and rear for $100.

 

The problem with the 70 plastic ones is they have a metal frame underneath. So that will need to be modified too.

 

You could remove the plastic and cut it shorter and mount it some other way.

 

No one does it because its not worth it. Unless you really like the look of them but want them shorter?

Stuff the Ke bumpers the plastic looks shit compared to chrome

ke30 ones are good but i think the Xt130 front bumpers look modern

Just unbolt the plastic end caps and cut an inch or so off each side an put them back on.

Drill four new holes for mounting an your done.

Picked mine up for $35

Usually people just butcher the steel underneath and cable tie the chopped bumper back on

 

Doesnt look real good up close

hmmm.... well id love to get a mad Crome one but i can't seem to find em anywhere?? i just saw a picture of a ke with a chopped bumper and thought it looked alright. if anyone knows of a crome one layin round hit us up with some priiices hmmmm.gif
