edit: phil beat me too it, sorta.

 

1 major difference is that the sedans use coil springs in the rear, where as wagons use leaf springs.

 

ratios are probably different as well.

 

but the spring different is the main one. completely different setup in the rear.

I doubt it, although some expert on here will know for sure. Oh- the AE86 & TE71 does!

 

can bolt an ae86/te71 T series 6.7" in a ke70 for instance for upgrade. tho bigger diff head needs shorter driveshaft etc

 

I can tell you the Celicas ran the same system, but the mounts will probably be slightly in the wrong place or at the wrong angle.

Hilux diff is probably the diff you would want I think it's 10-20 mm longer so it may not need shortening but you need to change the diff mounts to fit the wagon leafs (I'm unsure of which hilux but there is tonnes of diff/LSD threads though out the forum)
