Nice one Ryan, I bought a lathe end 09/10 financial year (for tax reducing purposes funnily enough) but haven't had time to get the single-3 phase inverter wired up. Hercus 260, killer.

 

 

Sweet! I have the bonus of 3phase at the new workshop. But only really looking at single phase lathes at the moment. Unless something good comes up at a reasonable price in 3 phase.

my inner lazyness has come out and said gtfo with Boost :blinks:

 

and is now saying matt you will be fine sliding a high comp 3tc with dual sideys and headers .......................................

I was talking to a guy from the states and he thinks that you could get nearly 200 RWHP for about 3k on a 3t (not including twin carbs though so add another $1500 to that)

High comp, "dual sidies" extractors will probably cost you more than a basic turbo setup. and could potentially be 50% slower....

 

50 shot of gas would be an easier option also
