Hey guys, looking at putting some fender mirrors on my bus but I'm not quite sure how to go about fitment, just wondering if anyone could give me some advice on how to go about it? Is it hard? Or a quick and easy job? Personal experiences would be great :)

Cheers, Nathan

depends on the rods, etc. Mine came with a backing plate with a bolt thread, which the main bolt from the inside of the mirror goes through, and a circular ring which the mirror itself (i.e. the plastic) pops into. I borrowed a circle saw set, and drilled 2 holes close to each other of the same size. Make sure you use measuring tape and masking tape, so that the mirrors are consistent/even either side :lolcry:

It's easiest taking a wheel off to thread the mirror inside the guard too.

^^ Yea agredd, easy Process

Just play around with the postition of them on the fenders and make sure you don't have blind spots that can hide a Road Train.

When ebaying fender mirrors don't limit your search to " KE70 Fender mirrors " because you will only be looking at them cheap plastic one's, just search "fender mirrors". On my Car I've got some from a Saab.
