dbr11k Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 why is alcohol always involved in spring cutting ? haha Quote
t18drifts Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 we had the springs out completly we wanted to see how low it was on bump stops it was still legal at 115mm from the ground at the lowest point the limit is 100m so yeah good times Quote
dbr11k Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 yea i'm not against spring cutting.. not really a fan of it either but... as long as decent stiff shocks are used i reckon its fine.. and i normally cut two things off the rubber bump stops when cutting springs.. so it still has a bit of travel in it. Chillin Posted July 10, 2011 Report Posted July 10, 2011 Just take it to a shop mate, all of their fab work will be covered by some kind of warranty and they will do it once, and do it right. I'm not doubting your fabrication skills, just for the little expense they charge it will give you peace of mind. Best of luck with it! Quote
