Watched the 'Castle'

Great movie, but was thinking how would you remake it,

I mean with HD and 3D would ruin the effect the picture has, hmmmm

Was watching Family Guy the other day and Peter Griffin had a great way to re-make a old movie.

Peter Griffin: I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws. I call it Big Jaws. :laff: !

top gun was great, since there was limited 3d effects, it was just awesome action shots of jet planes.

i would like to see a movie about cars, where its a somewhat believable and good story line, some good actors, NO 3d effects, just good filming of cool cars doing cool things. is that so much to ask for?

This is one of the reasons why 'Gone in 60 seconds' is probably my favourite movie in the "vehicle" genre. I can't get enough of the sound of that mustang.

....bring sally up.....bring sally down....

Needs less tom cruise. I can't watch it since he went(?) mental, oh and there's the scientology bs as well...

A connection between going mental & scientology? Never..... :P

Sometimes movies shouldn't be remade, I went to see Conan (maybe not a direct remake) last night....OMFG! It made Arnie's version look like a multiple Oscar winning film, the only redeeming feature was the freeky witch chick. ;)

Either Voyage to the bottom of the sea or 20,000 leagues under the sea I think would be great with todays special effects etc.

Personally:

The Last Starfighter

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0087597/

Lots of 3D but done well with a good director.

Found I'd recorded this movie on the HDR yesterday and had to watch it again. Would be awesome done with real special effects.

My sugestion would be "RAD" the most epic 80's bmx movie.

Stu.
