It reads like I'm knocking you, but I'm not.

 

I like the work you do, I like the initiative.

 

But if you want to be taken seriously, the presentation needs a whole lot of work.

 

Case in point is an escort I did a fair bit of work on. We turreted the rear end, custom trans tunnel, boxed the rear floor for a 4 link rear. By the time it was finished, it looked factory. This thing gets attention for all the right reasons.

 

Whether it's the Corolla, the V8 Super Dinosaur or the F-truck, you're level of presentation should be the same.

super dinosaur haha? the F truck will be nice the supercar is nice but my rolla is my rolla i wanted a ratty car that when it turns up to race against somewon they don't look twice then i win the event and there like wtf that shitheap just came 1st outright in this event i love that feeling everytime i win khanacross

i like khanacross its relaxed and in my home town and 5 mins up the road from my house but the supercar is more fun at winton and wakefield and I'm racing it next year in the national super TT championship

and the competitiveness (is that a word?) between me and rob is so much fun last khanacross we were within 1 tenth of a second overall

And that's great, really it is. And things like motorkhanas and khanacrosses give you an excellent grounding. More people should do them.

i think i tend to agree with mr redwarf......

 

some cool work here, but far out i would have started with a less beat up car!!! especially with all the custom weld in stuff. not all that easy to re shell features like that.

 

some pretty cool stuff though, that watts link is cool, and love the muffler box!

 

not so much love the welds on the muffler box...but hey if it works...

the mig ran out of gas i was using some other shit gas so i went crap lol and this thing was oerfect when i got it so i dinted it myself it has character haha
