ridleyy Posted June 9, 2011 Report Posted June 9, 2011 hey so new to rolla club, got a ke70 rolla at the moment and planning on wiring up the sr20 thats sitting in it. Just seeing if anyone had any advice with it, any problems they had when doing it. Still don't no weather or not to go n/a or turbo it. Having troubles finding some engine mounts if anyone could help with that if they've done the same conversion and also x-member for the box and would be helpful if anyone had a wiring diagram for an sr20. Jono.C Posted June 9, 2011 Report Posted June 9, 2011 What we did was chop the mounts off an s13 crossmember and weld them onto to the ke70 one, got it nice and low. For the gearbox crossmember just unbolt the box holder off the s13 one and knuck up a new brace from 5mm steel plate or rectangle tubing and bolt the box holder on. http://www.240sx.ca/i/UNCUT-sr20de_L.jpg < Wiring diagram Quote

That is one method, you got to be really careful when cutting the mounts off, If your good with a welded and bending of steel, you can make them up and sit it where you want, and weld to the KE crossmember, and modify the engine block mounts accordingly I still used the silvia mounts, and i have a trust sump and clears the sway bar etc Quote
