$1200 for an LSD, um, no :P Peanut aint a race car.

Thought they were closer to $1000..Was just thinking a new LSD would be nicer than a second hand one. And those LSD disc rear ends go for around $1200-$1500 anyway?..

Paint will be the last thing I do on this one.

Gonna have to get a welder though.

Don't get a gasless. Seriously. Mines just OK now but I wouldn't do anything that had to be strong with it..

I remember people saying their steel wheels were around $150 or more to get widened by Dr Wheels. So it would be ~$600, probably more now, to get steel wheels widened. Not exactly cheap but damn they look cool. I think I'm going to get my stock wheels widened after I get my car on the road.

I reckon width is a factor as well, more width = wider band = more steel.

I remember I got mine and they were "shitty" or pov. Now everything thinks they're amazing.

Well mine were 100 so maybe it depends where you get them done?

That's not so bad, wouldn't really hesitate at that price. But if it were over $600ish I'd probably rather buy some secondhand alloy wheels.

When you got yours done did they just cut the barrel and weld in a strip to widen it or did they replace the entire outer barrel? I've heard of places doing it both ways, would rather get the entire outer barrel replaced.
