7shades Posted June 4, 2011 Report Posted June 4, 2011 WMMH: Servicing a 2nd gen RAV4. The oil filter faces downwards, right next to the sump. None of this reaching through a tangle of manifolds and hoses and crap to get to it, (I'm looking at YOU 1JZGTE) just unscrew it, no oil leaks out. Made me momentarily happy that someone in the R&D department actually bothered to think about servicing for a change. Quote
