carbonboy Posted January 7, 2014 Report Posted January 7, 2014 I would comment further on that whole Google+/YouTube link-all-the-things drama, but methinks that's more for the WGMG thread. Quote
BUZ440 Posted January 16, 2014 Report Posted January 16, 2014 WMMH - Got an offer on the house, cheering given the current market, and after Christmas, Now to move into the other house, with the 12 x 9m shed, or sell that and build a new home, dang tiny blocks tho Quote
Clapped out Posted January 17, 2014 Report Posted January 17, 2014 Building new takes too long, IMO better off with something already constructed and...............almost new. Quote

The other house is behind where i am anyways, so might renovate it, but have to elevate your comfort, or move out to Woodford like some, 36 squares of house is ideal tho Quote
Clapped out Posted January 18, 2014 Report Posted January 18, 2014 Renovating is good with a house worth while, is it big? Woodford is getting to far out of the way, plenty of acreages on the coast though.............. Quote

House is basic for the Bay, but has potential with some reno hard work, been running a few sketches 1200sq/m block size, with 12x9mx5m high shed, room for a pool also, and patio all the way around, quite cul de sac, not when the Cortina is finished, or if i end up with a Rotary, haha Quote
carbonboy Posted January 24, 2014 Report Posted January 24, 2014 WMMH - I don't get my actual paper-frame-immediately-Certificate until the graduation ceremony in mid-February, but this is making me pretty damn happy right now. :) Oh, the extra 5 days it took me were due to time off work on WorkCover. :P Quote
Clapped out Posted January 24, 2014 Report Posted January 24, 2014 The rain over the last two days, GREEN GRASS FINALLY!!! YAY!! Quote
towe001 Posted January 24, 2014 Report Posted January 24, 2014 Ha, i was talking to my brother the other night of when the wife and i first moved into our home the only real amount of green grass we had was on the nature strip. The front yard was mostly brown and the backyard was just a joke of brown dying grass and dirt. So i watered it and used that weed/feed stuff. Six years later i can't even kill the grass with bloody roundup these days. Infact it thrives on the stuff. Quote
azza91 Posted January 24, 2014 Report Posted January 24, 2014 moving, goodbye unit, hello house!! Quote

Yeah I'm in the same boat, still tying to get a consistent layer of grass even after 2 years, round up has become too expensive, regular unleaded is cheaper, ha ha. Quote

67Rolla-Ken Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 I now know the difference between a 67 KE10 dash pad and the later KE10 dash pad... and figured it out just before I bid on wrong one on Ebay. Also now sure that the old one I have that needs restoring is correct! Quote
