Hey guys since I've changed my wheels on my ke26 I have noticed more so (it was like it before also) that at the rear the passenger side is 10-15mm higher than the drivers side.

Sounds stupid but is this because someone has always sat in the drivers side for 40 years and the driver side leaf has slightly sagged? Or are there other variables that effect ride height? Its not the shocks as they are completely farked.

Got the same on my ke35

You could try swapping sides of the leaves .. didnt make a difference on mine tho

I renewed all shocks - front springs and swapped sides of the leaves, no difference.

Off topic a bit but my mate noticed the drivers side of his BMW was higher than the passenger side.

Turns out they design it that way taking in the weight of the driver once inside.

Obviously not in this case. I've notice that after lowering my ke70 you'd assume the diff would be closer to one side.

But its tighter to the opposite side than it should be  ???

Rolla anomalies?

Havent put the adjustable one in yet. Lazy.

I'm just saying that it should push one way but is tighter to the opposite side. Not by heaps but noticeable to me.

My panhard is almost horizontal.

I'm wondering if years of driver in/out flex has made the cars kinda settle onto one side?

Gimme a sec I'll go back in time and check some new ones.

swaybar adjustment could improve it, if you have a rear one.

I'm pretty sure I don't? Ill have the check on that one.

So by the sounds of it resetting my leaf springs wont solve the issue?

yeh if I recall correctly, the link's on the rear swaybars are fixed, unlike front ones that are usually adjustable.... So no love there, I aplogise.

You could get them reset, but before you do that, redo all the bushes, worn leaf spring bushes would do it.

My 20 hangs low on the right hand rear and that's after I put ke55 springs in it. Maybe if I got two left springs..... :hmm:
