So, I'm kinda desperate. I have an iPhone (unlucky me) and it's decided to erase all my contacts.

Does anyone have any idea how to get them back?

I think the settings changed to sync from outlook so it wiped them, but they aren;t stored on my sim..

300 contacts is a number i just can't get back..

Anyone? :S

Has it got an option in the address book to read contacs from sim?

I know a nokia and iphone is different but my nokia has 2 locations for addresses, phone and sim.

The problem is iPhones save to phone not sim, and you can't change that, itunes has a backup thingy but the restore point i need isnt within the 4 most recent :S

happened to my girlfriends iphone when she upgraded to OS4 or whatever the latest is.

unless you have done a backup on your pc, using itunes (which sounds like you have some olderones), then unfortunately they are all gone.

apple is annoying in that it encrypts everything as well so even if you do find them you need a special program to read them outside of itunes/ipod (which do exist)

how did yours come about being deleted? an OS upgrade?

if they have become corrupt or something and are still on the phone somewhere, you can probably find a way of extracting the files off the phone and trying to read information out of them....when i tried this there was a fair bit of info out there about it, tedious though.
