well goin on a mad as long trip starting friday arvo in this beast and so today i changed the oil filter and oil and damm it was pretty bad good thing i got some good oil for it lol

bit of an update

 

since last years update not much has happened except i have snapped a clutch cable and serviced the thing every 5 to 10 thousand KMS with new oil and filter and well today i did change the brake pads on the beast because they were starting to annoy me with the squeaking that they do, i brought the pads back in december when i had more money and back then they didnt need changing so yea

 

apart from that i have been on the xmas cruise with some of the boys and it loved the hill run and basically enjoying driving it around all the time as the ke55 has now become like a project for me

so the first pic is of the new pads i installed today

the second is when justin had his license and looked like a good pic

and the third was when i had a flat tyre so i changed both back wheels to stockos and changed them back once the punture was repaired

F&&K yea you will have to come for a drive with me if your free on the weekend and yea you know that annoying falcon squeal i had well its gone lol

e series ftw:) Mines a 5 speed aswell and i have snapped 2 clutch cables and my mate has one also and he has done a few aswell :/

it was a lovely car but the motor is now farrrrrked in it time to let the big girl go:(

I dunno how people keep snapping cables aye, I have had 3, one with a pissed off clutch and the rest with standard ones in them havn't broken one.....

so guys since my last update i have since replaced both front and rear suspension as well as got rid of the awful looking black 17inch wheels that i didnt like much and brought some 16 inch EL XR6 factory alloys also know as FTR's and got tires put on them at tax time and put them on the car even put a bigger 30mm sway bar in the front end

 

then decided to chase down the EL Xr6 front for the twin light conversion which meant bar, bonnet , headlights and indicators and to paint them the same colour as the car which i painted myself and iam happy with how the car is

 

more recently i have changed the whole diff from factory 3.23 diff to 3.45 LSD and replaced all the trailing arm bushes and sway link and sway bar bushes as well

cheers trev ,just now need a new left hand mirror as i have broken the one in the pic then i can paint both and have them matching the car lol

also had to install a new clutch late last year as well as a pic of the old clutch and pressure plate
