Madsnakes Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 I took my stock ke70 in to get a roadworthy the other day. He picked on a few minor things. But one of the things was focus and adjusting the headlights. Now, i'm new to cars and stuff. But i've never heard of focusing headlights. And when I put them on, they are fine!! I'm just curious of if this guy was shitting on, or if there is an actual way to adjust and focus the lights. Any help would be helpful. Cheers. Quote
7shades Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 He's right... Focus is the wrong word though, he should've said adjust or aim. Pop the bonnet and have a look at how the headlights are mounted... You'll notice there are some screws that actually hold the entire assembly to the body, and some that have a fine thread and are fairly long. These are the ones you turn to make fine adjustments to the aim. Most RWC places are *technically* supposed to have an aiming grid on the wall somewhere... So ask HIM to do it if he wants them adjusted :) Quote
