Hey guys Ive got a problem in my KE26. Its been like it since i purchased the car.

I have no low beam. When the indicator stalk is in low beam the high beam is stuck on, and when i flick it to high beam the blue light indicator flicks on and turns right off while the high beam lights remain.

All fuses are good and I've replaced the original headlights with H4's.

Any ideas?

had the same problem in my 30... exactly the same problem.. turns out to be a loose earth in the main loom plug coming off the steering shroud. i know its a 26 but check that everything is earthed.

Also troy, from my experiance KE2#'s have issues sometimes with the indicator mechanism, both my ke25s have issues similar to what you are describing.

Take off the steering wheel and give the indicator mechanism a good clean, dust and crap builds up in there may cause it to malfunction.

Also there is a relay I think on the inside of the drivers radiator support panel which I think from memory controls the lights, maybe swap that over to a spare one if you have see if it fixes it...

Ahh but the high beams are stuck on Nick, and since I've thrown in some H4's people are starting to flash me now that they are not candle powered.
