hey guys,

I have noticed another problem with my ke70,

hopefully this makes sense to all you's, here goes..

basically you'd probably know that to turn headlights on is to twist the knob, to turn highbeams on push the stick away (and it doesnt spring back) and to flash highbeams you pull the lever (and it springs back)

in my car, all headlights work, and i can use the flashing function of the highbeams (works fine) but putting the high beams (pushing lever) on turns off the headlights. so If i wanted to use high beams id have to pull the stick and hold it there..

does that make sense??

I also had this problem in my 86 celica, sold it before i fixed it though, but judging by that its a common issue?

Is it a relay or fuse? or whats the deal, how do I fix it?

Thanks in advance :)

Hey mate, had a similar problem with my rolla. Turned out to be an obviously faulty wire in the indicator/lights assembly.. your best bet would be to take it out and have a look. its pretty easy to get to, just get your steering wheel off, then the cover around the ignition barrel, then just have a look. If you can't find whats wrong just go to the wrecker and grab another one.
