shLONG13 Posted May 21, 2012 Author Report Posted May 21, 2012 Keep your eyes pealed folks, have a new thread coming up soon on the Ae71. Just purchased a bigport 4age 16v, will have some internal work done and running a microtech computer system, will be a beast ;) Also picked up something special the other day for 400 bucks with a heap of spares, a 1977 LT 2000 Celica liftback or a Celica Mustang if you prefer that. Jono.C Posted May 21, 2012 Report Posted May 21, 2012 Why Microtech? They're dank.. Only good for Rotaries. Go haltech. Less worries Quote

driftkid23 Posted June 19, 2012 Report Posted June 19, 2012 Hey sorry if I'm just asking something you've already told, but I'm just checking if the whole set of ae86 bolt pretty much straight in except for the front? The front just requires 86 hubs, discs, calipers etc? and that's one of the best Ke's I've ever seen noice Quote
shLONG13 Posted July 20, 2012 Author Report Posted July 20, 2012 Hey sorry if I'm just asking something you've already told, but I'm just checking if the whole set of ae86 bolt pretty much straight in except for the front? The front just requires 86 hubs, discs, calipers etc? and that's one of the best Ke's I've ever seen noice Hey man, yeah bolts straight up pretty much, just need what you said, calipers, rotors and hubs and you just need to mod the steering knuckles or get ae86 ones, i just filed one of the holes out on mine. If you can't get 86 hubs you can get the spindle machined like i had to back to ke70 so you can run standard hubs on them because i couldnt find any. Cheers Quote
shLONG13 Posted July 20, 2012 Author Report Posted July 20, 2012 (edited) Hey guys, I'm back haha though it might be time for a bit of an update, its been a while, have been flat out at work. Just got a few pics that i have found that i thought i would throw up. Blue Datsun 1600 is my mates project, also some photos of the ae86 front end set up with machined spindles to fit standard ke70 hubs back on because i couldnt find any ae86 ones ha. Also just a few cruising pics. Latest mods that are about to happen to the purple machine now that its tax time will be gilmer belt drive, seats booked in to get vinyl insert done and putting some rockford fosgate 6x9's in the back and mabey even custom plates, then I'm going to concentrate on the ae. Just about to make a new thread on my new ae, making good progress with it and the new 4age so look out for it! Edited July 20, 2012 by shLONG13 Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 One day I will have this cars babies, and I will call them BLZlong's and they will be awesome. Quote
snotyellowke55 Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 Porn as man. Looks so good hitting up the cruise. Did it ever spend any time in the GYC workshop? Did you ever do automotive there? The old man brought my '55 in for a bit of TLC when the 4K went bang. Phil and the boys are insane, reconditioned the 4K and had it back together in a week of classes. Quote
