Istartfires Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 Looks like the roads are now safer, however stay off the footpath when you see this kid driving your way. :) Quote
Des Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 Its not a public road. My mate has wealthy parents and they have property out in the hills with a bitumen driveway to the house and is about 500m long. So stress less. Not perfect but easier to read. Quote

67Rolla-Ken Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 (edited) Sounds like you're not really ready to be a responsible driver... you chose the name t18drifts. Sorry man I think your great value on the forum, always amusing, but it does really sound like you have more growing up to do ;) Edit: Perhaps that is a little harsh. If you plan to take up drifting under controlled conditions go for it  I would suggest being extremely careful if you plan on practising on private property, last thing you want to do is hit someone or someone's car/house. Kid-Ae Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 Congratulations on obtaining your license, now PLEASE, as a fellow restricted licensee I understand the urge to fang and be a knob and have some fun, but just make sure you drive like a nana if you want to remain both licensed AND alive. I've lost two mates in the past 12 months to careless driving, being idiots, having 'fun'. The funerals were not so fun. Be as moronic as you like on a race track in controlled conditions, but please drive like you're happy to do the speed limit, take corners at the correct speed and NOT tear burnouts, drift, perform keybangers and basically draw attention to yourself. P's stand for 'pick on me', which the police will, so be good, pretend they are ALWAYS watching, keeps you from being stupid. Goodluck to you in your (hopefully) lengthy driving career :y: Quote
t18drifts Posted April 13, 2011 Author Report Posted April 13, 2011 (edited) ass i said i wasnt trying to digg a hole just saying barbagallo race way were i have been dreaming of going for 2 years now i drive responsibly my name t18drifts well its becuse my car t18 drifts becuse yeah obviously i like drifting thats it i don't do silly stuff on roads my mate almost killed me when he got his ps he span out trying to drift the passenger door were i was had a light pole half a foot away from it scarred the shit out of me i have no intention of doing it on roads :) Edited April 13, 2011 by t18drifts Quote
Kid-Ae Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 Don't worry mate, not trying to say you will be a knob on the road, simply making sure that you understand that a license is a huge responsibility. Took you five times to get it, sure as hell wouldn't want to lose it after all that time and money. :) 1 Quote
t18drifts Posted April 13, 2011 Author Report Posted April 13, 2011 yeah also that the near death situation and 5 attempts and nearly 1200 dollars wurth of lessons and tests later id rather pay 400 dollars for a track membership each year then 60 for cams license then 60 bucks everytime i go to the track is a fairtrade for being able to drift and not get introuble and risk over peoples lives Quote
RedKE30 Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 (edited) I find it amazing that every time someone is accused of doing stupid things on public roads they always seem to have a friend with a farm or know someone wealthy with a large tarmac road. I'm not calling you a liar, just making an observation. I couldn't possibly "stress less" over the fate of your car, I just hope you don't seriously injure or kill an innocent bystander (or yourself.) Cheers, Sian Edited April 13, 2011 by RedKE30 Quote

Trev Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 Who gives a f@$k how many times it took him, atleast he was upfront about it and not said he got it 1st go to be all hectic, by his latest posts it sounds like his parents have never given him much time to practice driving and you do know that your driving instructor books the driving test for you when you are ready, obviously he showed he was able to do it. People make mistakes on driving tests, I pulled up not close enough to the dividing line at a stop sign on a street that is about 15m wide and got a cross for it, woop de duck. And I am sure that if T18drifts wants to have some drifting fun then he will jump on forza 3, he will outdrift anyone on there (except philketo), the little c**t even beat me. Quote
