Ke20 Issue.

Last Friday night, I went for a drive into the city, the car is fine on the way out the interior dash lights work as does the radio,sub,amp etc.

 

Although on the return trip the dash lights went out the radio stopped playing and just turned off... The weird thing is that the head and tail lights still operated.

 

Anyone know whats up? I was initially thinking it would have to do with either the alternator or the battery.

Have you checked all your fuses?

I'd say battery and alternator is a great place to start. If your lights are working and your testing at night just see if the lights get brighter as you rev the engine. If they do then your alternator is still working, if they don't then chances are it's not performing. If it is your alternator check it's rating as if your running a standard ke20 alternator then it might not like all the extra juice it has to kick out for your sub and amp.
