ae71neo Posted October 25, 2005 Report Posted October 25, 2005 I might be going, AFI would be sick! Quote
Corolla_Kid Posted November 17, 2005 Report Posted November 17, 2005 More acts announced including JASON MIDRO Check the BDO site but the boiler room has got an epic line up. I'm there for sure. Quote
Jero Posted November 17, 2005 Report Posted November 17, 2005 Me and 3 mates are going! Driving up from Canberra :lolcry: I'm going mainly to see AFI and The Mars Volta, but Tool would be the fscking shiznit. I'm over The Living End now. But yeah. I'm so going to be there. Even if I lose my job over it. I've bought my ticket and there is no way I am giving it up. Quote
Super Jamie Posted November 17, 2005 Author Report Posted November 17, 2005 holy crap, canberra, that's a trek! have updated the original post with all new bands and final lineup, looks like no tool, oh well, mudvayne are going to be there RAWK!!! i have my ticket. i am planning my outfit - red mohawk, black shirt, red belt and nail polish, black pants, cheap red spraypaint job on my boots i want the timetable so i can plan what bands i have to see/miss! i have a headache from listening to so much mudvayne in anticipation :lolcry: Quote
Wood§tok Posted November 17, 2005 Report Posted November 17, 2005 the lineup isnt that impressive. there are a few notable standouts, but not enough to justify the price. I'm going to see jamiroquai a the riverstage anyways so there... Quote
Super Jamie Posted November 18, 2005 Author Report Posted November 18, 2005 they have bdo in auckland, goldcoast, sydney, melbourne, adelaide and perth the lineup isn't that impressive i agree, but it's not shit either. that's kinda like listening to the radio, you get different music inflicted upon you and it opens your mind and introduces you to something a bit outside your normal train of thought all my other bdo's have been like, i paid ~$100 to see one band, the rest were bonus extras. this time i am going for the experience as a whole, cos i haven't been for a few years and am sick of regretting it Quote
Corolla_Kid Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 It will be my first time so i am definently looking forward to it. I'm sick of listening to all my mates telling me how good it was. Quote
Super Jamie Posted November 27, 2005 Author Report Posted November 27, 2005 it's a good day huh oh, by the way everyone, AFI have pulled out. i'll bet there's a flood of sydney tickets on ebay now :D i know at least two people who have just gone "f@$k that" and sold their tix already Quote
Jero Posted November 30, 2005 Report Posted November 30, 2005 Ahh too bad bout AFI. I'm no longer going anyway. Damn car is sucking all my money down the drain. Oh well. I hear Pennywise is coming to Australia in Feburary. Maybe I'll go to that. Quote
Rolla__Boy Posted November 30, 2005 Report Posted November 30, 2005 now now, the car didn't put itself in neutral and rev to death, then snap drive Quote
Dyzza Posted December 2, 2005 Report Posted December 2, 2005 i have a headache from listening to so much mudvayne in anticipation :P Yeah dude Mudvayne are gonna kick ass! 123 GO! So F*CKING DETERMINED! I saw them about 6 months back when they were here playing in the arena. In case you don't know, they are touring independently of the Big Day Out as well - the night after the gold coast BDO. Tix are $56.10 through tickekek. I'm going to both - that will be mudvanye 3 times in 9 months! Dyzza Quote
