Sloth Posted November 14, 2011 Author Report Posted November 14, 2011 My parts finally arrived!! Got a set of coilovers that I bought from rollaclub and a surge tank I got off ebay. They are nothing fancy, but hopefully all of this should help me drift a bit better out at Wakefield in <2 weeks time! Here's the original add for the coilovers: For sale here i have a set of AE86 Front Coilovers 8k spring rate with 40mm RCA's and Adjustable Camber tops. these Coilovers are inverted monotube design. These are from an unknown maker but not a cut and shut job. appear to be very solid and firm, spring rate of around 8k. E.B.N roll centre adapter 40mm Cusco adjustable pillowball upper mount. inserts have some rustand havent been used for a while so i will sell these cheap Quote
Sloth Posted November 15, 2011 Author Report Posted November 15, 2011 Coilovers are in!! JRiftin's been busy and installed my coilovers. There was a couple of issues along the way; the drivers side wheel bearing was quite badly damaged, both front calipers had seized, the wheels I was hoping to put on the front were the wrong offset (requiring at least a 20mm spacer) and the tires on the wheels wouldn't hold up to a weekend of drifting. With all of that though, they are on successfully and are quite stiff. The height is a lot better at the front now. I've also got a set of RPM racing gloves, hopefully they will work well with my suede wheel out on the track. Quote
Sloth Posted November 15, 2011 Author Report Posted November 15, 2011 KENut just dropped off a welded diff center and two spare axels! Getting closer and closer to some hectik drifting next weekend! Quote
Sloth Posted November 16, 2011 Author Report Posted November 16, 2011 Surge tank went in today. Unfortunately the car wouldn't start (looks like a small wiring issue with the ECU), hopefully this will be sorted soon. Quote
