Macca k Posted March 22, 2011 Report Posted March 22, 2011 hey guys, was wondering what sorta 5 stud conversions people did to their ke70's? for example, to go with a hilux diff in the rear? thanks for your time Quote
SLW42 Posted March 23, 2011 Report Posted March 23, 2011 you can always get the axles re done to 4 stud when you get the diff shortened, hopperstoppers do kits for big brakes and 5 stud and there is combo's of all different things for a bigger brake and falcon and many other car 5 stud, curly had a neet setup on the front of his 3rzfeT ke38 wagon Quote
Grand Master of Awesome Posted March 23, 2011 Report Posted March 23, 2011 Not 100% sure but read nissan forums and most people do a r33 brake conversion on their s13, so i can't see why you couldnt go s13 front end and then switch it over? Rears would just be a custom job, theres a car in the rides section that is 5 stud all round. White ke70 with red wheels might be worth a PM. Oh and orange ke has rego now ;) Quote
SLW42 Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 Oh and orange ke has rego now ;) hahahaha completely OT hahaha. yeah dude have abit of a scoure through people's build threads and have a look at what there doing for bigger brakes Quote

1JZ-Rolla Posted April 8, 2011 Report Posted April 8, 2011 I've gone with a kit from Hoppers Stoppers on the front (custom hubs in whatever stud PCD you want, and PBR twin piston brakes), and a Commodore diff in the rear, shortened on one side, with billet axles. The billet axles are pre-drilled with 5x120 (holden) and 5x114.3 (Toyota/Ford) PCD so you can choose where to place the studs. Wheel choice opens up so much with 5 stud! Especially for staggered width sets. I'm running 8" fronts and 9" rears at the moment. Cheers Quote
