snot35 Posted March 22, 2011 Report Posted March 22, 2011 Improvise! Empty egg cartons perhaps? As long as you have a spot where no one is going to muck with it/tip it over you're laughing. Quote

RedKE30 Posted March 22, 2011 Report Posted March 22, 2011 Just use blank pieces of paper, you can write whatever you like on them. Then just place parts on top. Thats what we do at work. Quote
ae824ate Posted March 22, 2011 Report Posted March 22, 2011 Just make up a simple board with holes drilled and numbered for each valve. Thats what i did, it does the job. Quote

SLW42 Posted March 29, 2011 Report Posted March 29, 2011 anything i should do whilst stripping the motor? Clean everything and use new gaskets everywhere and avoid using gasket goo for a gasket, combining both is always better  If it's a bigport 4age, i have a set of standard acl forged rod bearings you can have for $50 :P assuming the crank isn't fooked and needs a slight grind...... Other than that thrown new everything at it, i.e bearings, piston rings, get the injectors cleaned, polish the cam covers, polish the fuel rail, the list doesn't end............ Quote
