HA i did about 3 hours work(sanding wet rubbing) for an ae82 complete car with a 16v 4 age in it.

I am planning on taking the bear 4age out and parting the rest of the car out.

now whilst the motor will be on an engine stand i will strip the motor down and send the head away to be ported and polished cylinders honed by 40.60 thou.

would any one know were to get one of them tray/rack things were u take the head apart and put it in order..? catch my drift any one?

If any one has some ideas for me(no contaning to much money) feel free to share.

thanks, Jamie.

AND another thing i got gift a borg warner diff :) FOR FREE : D which i will be selling

so far i have saved over 1000 dollars, so WHOO said this conversion wont be cheap.

And use resealable plastic bags for all the bits. Don`t forget to mark whats in there on a peice of paper and put that inside. Felt pen rubs off plastic when combined with oil. Cheers.

Clean everything and use new gaskets everywhere and avoid using gasket goo for a gasket, combining both is always better

If it's a bigport 4age, i have a set of standard acl forged rod bearings you can have for $50 :P assuming the crank isn't fooked and needs a slight grind...... Other than that thrown new everything at it, i.e bearings, piston rings, get the injectors cleaned, polish the cam covers, polish the fuel rail, the list doesn't end............

^^^ :y: Hmm, 4340 billet crank balanced of course, arias pistons, shotpeen rods, acl race series studs and bearings all throughout, fully balanced and cnc blueprinted bottom end, o-ring block, dry sump, trd metal head gasket, neat port and polish job, oversized valves, trd or double springs, hks 272 degree cams, pretty stainless turbo manifold, disco potato, 50mm wastegate, flowed custom ally intake plenum with 1uzfe throttle body, stupid injectors, and the most expensive engine management unit you can find :P
