Hey guys,

Did a search but couldn't find anything that confirmed if a ta22 rear sway bar bolted into the ke55 diff and body mounts. Does anyone have any information that could shed some light?

Cheers Hayden

I think he wants to know if it will fit with the ke55 mounts etc that he already has.. The ke55 rear bar is pretty damn thin...

I too am interested to know of any alternative swaybars that would fit.

Edit : oops too slow...

You will be quicker without one in my opinion. All the rear bar does is lift the inside rear wheel off the ground in slow (and not so slow ;) ) corners.

Not 10. maybe 6? including anti tramp leaf.

Maybe talk to your local pedders to see if they can source a thicker version of the 55 swaybar? Someone like selby's/signature swaybars would do a thicker one.

I'm running flipped eye and added long leaf to the pack, and can't seem to get traction through corners, I'm planning on making another pack to test with consisting of flipped eye added two medium leafs.

The bar is mainly to stop the body roll, i am pushing the limits in tire and guard combo and i find myself scrubbing every now and again. Guards are already pumped 35mm from original and I'm going wider.

Can anyone confirm the ta22 upgrade? or any other larger bar for that matter

cheers

EDIT: Cheers slo-030, will look into it.

Selby's used to do a kit for KE30's.

If you want to stop body roll, stiffen up the front. Ran the std front bar with an additional bar from a Mazda under that. Basically limited body roll to a cm or so. This was without a rear bar.

Running 24mm sway bar up front, all new bushes and links, travel wise i've got short stroke shocks reducing travel to 65mm as well as stiffer springs compressed to fit.

I know there is a weak link somewhere in my setup, and i need to find it. the rear end just feels light through the turns, and does like to lurch out of traction.

Edit: what model mazda bar were you running?

Dunno. All I can say is that it was not 808 as a cousin got it for his and it wasnt even close. It bolted up to the radius rods with a little bit of effort and sat below the standard bar.

Later went to a bigger single bar and a ke55 rear and it wasnt even close to when I was running the twin front bars.
