philbey Posted March 17, 2011 Report Posted March 17, 2011 Just buy one of those. They've been designed properly, as far as air flow etc. Sure you can make a bow for them but there's some science behind these, just buy the Pipercross unit. When you spend that sort of money on carbs, you want the air box to work as best it can. Quote
pol090_ke11 Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 I agree with Philbey one of these Air boxes would flow extremly well, and for the time and money it would take for you to build yourself one its hardly worth it. Quote
WET.K30 Posted March 18, 2011 Author Report Posted March 18, 2011 does anyone know how much they are?? Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 http://www.burtonpower.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=piper+cross http://www.pipercross.net/ Don't make us do all your leg work, ok man. Start with google. Quote
philbey Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 There is a crowd in Australia that sell pipercross gear, can't remember the name. I think one of their foam filter assemblies was about 250 australian. Quote
